I just did the 30 day shred and had to stop 3 times. I found some parts really difficult and others bits really easy. I weigh just over 16 stone, am a size 20 and haven't done any form of exercise in well over a year. Doesn't help that my job means I sit at a desk all day. I want to lose a stone in the next 6 weeks by doing some form of exercise everyday and watching what I eat. Is this achievable?

I'd go for 2lb per week, but you will lose some water quickly so maybe. It is ALL about the nutrition though. NO processed foods, no junk or alcohol or fizzy drinks, no sugar etc etc. It will fly off but you will dip and withdraw and want the sugar! Be ready to fight it with a full supply of fresh, wholesome food.
