When should I run again?

I am part of a beginner's running group working towards a 5k in a couple of weeks time. I've worked really hard to get up to where I am now (it's been tough) starting from only being able to run for a minute to last Thursday running continuously for 28 minutes.

I had a operation on Tuesday and had a general anaesthetic. I feel horrible. Should have been at running club tonight, but obviously not going. But when will I feel up to running again? And how much of a set back is this going to be?

Have you got a coach?

Maybe a week and a week off won't set you back at all. But get advice from professional
