Insoles have given me a blister

I bought some new trainers today. Really happy with them. I did however make the mistake of using the snazzy machine in the shop which told me that I have 'wide-arched' feet. These trainers are for low-arched feet, however the lady in the shop told me that insoles would given the extra support.

I went for a run this afternoon (only 2k) and, because the insoles lift my feet up within the shoe, my heels weren't supported enough and were rubbing at the back. Hence the blisters.

It's been such a long time since I bought new trainers that I don't know how normal this is. Was I just daft to not wear them in first? Should I persevere with the insoles? Or take them out and hope for the best?
