Which shop is best for gait analysis? In London

As I know NOTHING about running, except that I take notions at times where I quite like it and do a bit in the gym. I feel the time has come to get proper trainers as I need new ones anyway.

I'm in London, which shop should I go to?

Is the London marathon shop still around, when i went there years ago it was all massively high tech with heat maps and stuff.

I'm a bit skeptical about gait analysis so no longer bother but if that's still about that's probably the one to go to!

I went to the sweat shop by the Bank of England. Think that's the vmlm one mentioned above. They were excellent. The manager tried really hard to conquer my feet.

I went to Runners World in Canary Wharf. They were very good but I'm with lastqueenofscotland and remain sceptical. The trainers I ended up with are no better or worse than my other pair I just bought online.

Make sure you get it done barefoot as well.

And with trainers - I can't remember which they normally...

RunnersNeed is good. Have a look here to see where is near you www.runnersneed.com/store/content/fcp-content and check they do gait analysis because I'm not sure if all the stores do it.
