Knickers for running

Has anyone found pants which don't move when they run? I have to keep hoiking mine out of my butt, which isn't a great look.

I have boxers from Falke; very comfy, sweat wicking and no hoiking!

CMOTDibbler · 22/04/2015 07:31

tescos microfibre seamless shorts work for me

SageYourResoluteOracle · 22/04/2015 07:32

I actually run in a thong. Can't stand anything else. I don't generally wear thongs these days other than to run in but find this the most comfortable thing whilst training. I wear running tights and a tshirt too, obvs ...

brunette123 · 22/04/2015 20:02

Tesco microfibre thongs for me £5 for 2 very comfy and stay put - I wear them ordinarily too

Lagoonablue · 22/04/2015 20:05

Am interested in this.....I have bad vpl when I have running tights on.

Annabanana1812 · 22/04/2015 20:05

Pro make do seamless boxers they r great

iwantgin · 22/04/2015 20:06

I wear quite large knickers for running. If not 'bikini' briefs, then 'hi-leg' style. They don't ride up at all.

Not v glamourous though.

iwantgin · 22/04/2015 20:07

The thought of a thong on a long, sweaty run is making my eyes water. I've never got on well with them though.

brunette123 · 22/04/2015 20:10

I hardly know I am wearing a thong it is that comfy and I am running maybe 11-13 miles at a time - better still get the running shorts with the built in knickers - I only run in shorts from March till October and can never run in full length tights the rest of the year - only capris - thong doesn't get anymore hot and sweaty than sports bra ime

PippiLicious · 22/04/2015 20:12

I don't wear any. Just running tights (colder weather) or capri leggings the rest of the time. Can't be bothered honking my pants out of my arse.

PippiLicious · 22/04/2015 20:13

"Hoiking" not honking!

GravityAlwaysWins · 23/04/2015 18:34

I have dedicated "running pants" from Chaffree www.chaffree.com
Not a sexy look but amazingly comfy and they stay put.

No knickers for me too. It's so much more comfortable.

It seems to be a bit of a contentious issue on mn, but it really is much better without undies.

BlueChampagne · 24/04/2015 22:44

Big Bridget Joneses for me. But could see that commando would work.

mzzzf · 24/04/2015 22:52

Commando! There's no need for pants if you've got sports kit on. The thought of claggy cotton undercrackers getting sweaty - bleurgh!

Lagoonablue · 25/04/2015 19:01

Commando? My tights are tight so show all my bits iyswim.

HelpMeGetOutOfHere · 25/04/2015 19:04

i run in regular shorts so don't need special pants.

Lagoonablue · 25/04/2015 23:03

Well mine are tight around the crotch. Not a good look.

BrianButterfield · 25/04/2015 23:05

I go commando! Not my usual style but much more comfy.

Doyouthinktheysaurus · 26/04/2015 08:11

Nike filament tights are what I wear, and they are not in the slightest bit see through. They are very comfortable and last forever too, I can highly recommend them.
