30 Day Shred: what equipment do you need?

Inspired by managing to get to Day 2 of Pooch25k, I have dusted off my Jillian Michaels DVD. I know you need a mat and some weights, but does anybody know which weight is good for a beginner? Also, do you need anything else? Thanks.

No, just trainers and a sports bra (assuming you're female!). there is a great shred/other JM thread where you can get lots of advice and encouragement. I'm too dim to know how to add a link, but it's called the April Shread Threat.

I live in a 2nd floor flat, how noisy is the shred? Is it lots of jumping and banging?

I need to lose 10 kilos by the end of August which I think is doable-a bit of extra exercise added to my diet will help!
