What does everyone listen to whilst running?

I normally don't listen to anything, but my runs are becoming longer. So what does everyone listen to, music or podcasts. Can you recommend some podcasts to make the time pass quicker and stop me from looking at my watch every 5 minutes?

I posted this a while ago. Was listening to podcasts from radio 4 ex Saturday live, comedy, midweek.

Someone recommended rock my run. It's good, lively music mixes you can select by bpm. Mostly free, if you subscribe you can download the longer mixes. Transformed harder runs for me.

Podcasts for me, going to try some audio books too.

Music for me.
Mostly indie/alternative, and a few shameful pop ones thrown in for good measure.

If you like podcasts and are interested in science try the infinite monkey cage (radio 4 I think)

I don't listen to it for running but it's very good (I prefer music while running but I might try that this week)

Lots of 80s and 90s Brit/American "college rock" - REM, Bruce Springsteen, Housemartins, Madonna, Sting, Countring Crows.

My best times always come when either "I Smell Winter" by the Housemartins, "Rain King" by the Counting Crows or "Landslide" by Fleetwood Mac come up on the shuffle.

I loved Serial podcast, am now really enjoying The Moth (basically amazingly eloquent people telling real-life stories about things that have happened to them - often hilarious, or very moving). I also like Lapse Storytelling, which is similar although a slightly different format.

Drum and bass. I'm an oldish fart but like reliving my raving days in the privacy of my own ipod while out running Grin

I recommend the Hospital Records compilations off iTunes for anyone who wants to give it a go.
