help with exercise

I am 99kg and 5ft 3. My BMI is 37.5 Shock

My joints understandably ache when I get up from the chair. Especially knees. Once I get going I am ok but it's the initial heave!

I was wondering if there were any good low impact exercises/classes I could do to kick start my weight loss. Only thing I can think is swimming which I can only afford to do twice a week at most.

Does anyone have any ideas?

Thank you

Walking is fantastic and free. You can go at your own pace. Try walking fast for a few minutes, then slow. It clears your head and feels great. Good luck Thanks

Do lots of mini-exercises. Go to the kitchen, grab two cans of beans. Stand up straight and arms hanging, holding the cans. Flap your wings to shoulder height, arms straight, as many repetitions as you can do, several times that day. Next day, flex your abdominal muscles while doing your normal routine all day long. Another day squeeze buttocks and hold 10 sec, repeat, whenever you are sitting down... I'm sure you can come up with hundreds of these. Challenge yourself to a different one every day. No need to plan time or money for these at all and you can do them secretly if you wish.

And fidget, fidget fidget. Drives your loved ones potty of course, but can burn 300 extra calories a day. Never refrain from foot tapping or shoulder rolling when you get the chance.

Cycling, as it's not weight bearing?

To be honest I'd suggest going to a Slimming World class, they are pretty cheap and people do lose a lot of weight without exercising....

Most people that go don't exercise and lose weight but when you start reaching your target weight that's usually when you need to begin exercising to further lose weight.

[I'm not affiliated with slimming world, I've just been to a class before and everyone pretty much loses 2-3 pounds a week]
