I am delighted with myself and totally amazed that I managed it. 29:18. Have a park run in 2 weeks but that course is very up and down and today was dead flat but muddy so hope I'll be ok.

Yay for you! I am halfway through couch to 5K and it is going well, yet I still cannot imagine doing a whole 5K without stopping.

Fatstacks · 20/02/2015 18:05

Well done you Grin
Im still on week 1 for six weeks now

chiefbrody · 20/02/2015 18:19

yayyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy. Really good time. I managed 50 mins on the treadmill.

Is it easier on a treadmill of harder?

Anybody?

twobambinos · 20/02/2015 18:39

A huge congratulations to you keep up the good work excellent time as well.
You'll have no problems with the parkrun.

Chiefbeody I find treadmill harder but I suppose it might be watever u get used to. Well done 50mins is excellent too

CoffeeBucks · 20/02/2015 18:46

Amazing - well done!

Fisharefriendsnotfood · 20/02/2015 18:56

Thanks all Smile

I honestly can't believe it! Delighted to say the least. Aiming for 10K for my 35th at the start of June.

I find the treadmill much easier. But less rewarding. I tend to go treadmill if the weathers a bit dodgy or if I have time to use wet room at the gym after

That's a fab time, I've just done my first park run in 33 minutes. My aim is to get down to 30 in the next couple of months. Well doneSmile

Well done! That's fantastic! I'm on c25k week 6. Have got to 5k distance wise, around the 42 minute mark (including warm up walk). Inspiring to see everyone on treads like this. I've never really run before and the little I did before was on a treadmill. Now all outdoors in all sorts of weather and really enjoying it. Keep running and let us know how park run goes

Fisharefriendsnotfood · 23/02/2015 09:09

Thanks so much everyone. SmileSmile
Best of luck to you all too. I was on week 7 day two and just decided to run an extra .5k before turning back, hadn't set out to do the 5K that day and I think that helped in my head, that I hadn't built it up iykwim
