So, the congratulations/ commiserations mags are finally out.
I've been lucky - anyone else in?

DH didn't get a ballot place, but has rung up and confirmed a charity place.
Now to plan the logistics - ds and I are planning a swim at the Olympic pool

Nope - a commiserations mag for me.

Contemplated a charity place but after having had to pull out of Brighton Marathon due to injuries I'm trying not to actually enter anything else for now until I've got completely better and back to proper training.

Another commiseration mag here--still, lots of other reasons to get out on my bike once the weather picks up

I'm in but my far superior cyclist husband isn't.

Stupidly we've booked a holiday over that date in any case but if i accept it then i can defer to next year and be guaranteed a place...for a second fee. At least i get longer to train :-)

Oh, i'm also looking forward for the weather to pick up...i was cycling through sleet/snow this morning! I'm just not motivated to cycle for any decent distance at the moment.

I've booked our hotel now, so we can do the Freeride on Saturday, and then ds and I get a day doing stuff on the Sunday.

I'd like the weather to pick up too - I was running in sleet yesterday, and its been too icy or windy for me to get out on the bike. Which has meant turbo

I'm in. I did it last year, on the tail end of hurricane Bertha. Hoping for better weather this year!! Pootle I am contemplating pulling out of Brighton too. Running with a hip injury and trying to talk myself into being sensible :-( Still I have other races to do this year!

I'm in. and DH. utterly utterly dreading it.
