New to exercise & gym, what trainers should I get?

I've looked online & there are so many trainers! I haven't exercised properly for a long time so my trainers are rather dated & old! What sort of thing should I buy for gym & classes? Not too expensive, in sale would be good. Thanks

Lots of people in my gym classes wear Asics, me included. V comfy, but sizing is odd (generally have to go up) so I'd suggest going to a shop to get the right size and then buying online! Mine were £45 which is at the cheaper end of their range. Other brand I see worn are Reeboks, nothing much else. (Can you tell when I do when we're stretching at the end??!).

Saucony and asiacs are best for running. Much better cushioning for road/pavements.

Gym classes and stuff Id just go with Nike/Adidas

For classes ect you might want to buy training ones and if you want to treadmill running then get some running trainers

I would say that I found our local proper sports shop very helpful and actually not that expensive.
