Jogging trousers

Can anyone tell me where to buy joggers warm enough for walking the school run before I jog?

I run in last seasons karrimor running tights, which are reasonable warm, but maybe not for 5yr old walking speed!

Have you tried thermal running tights

Or 2 pairs, one which is windproof, which come off before you run - put into a very small rucksac?

I've started to wear bloch convertible dance tights under my running tights (seem to be favouring the ronhills at the moment but also a fan of nike, saucony with sort of furry lining and coldgear compression tights at this time of year) haven't tried them on a long run yet so not sure if chafe-free but ok up to about 5 miles so far
