...and I just wanted to say Whoopee! I am quite sore now but I feel awesome for it. I did a 10k a few years ago but this was much more ambitious. :)

Well done!

I hope you're having a well deserved treat?

greedygal · 26/10/2014 18:34

Well I will say you are brave! Well done and good luck for the next challenge : )

Well done! Take it easy for the next few days, my aching muscles peak about 48 hours after the race, but a short slow run sorts them out.

Yey! I did my first HM in May and second in June this year. Not sure if there will be a third..... It's a great feeling afterwards.

I came home (ran about an hour from home) and had a long bath and went to my sister's house who cooked an amazing roast! I also had my first drink in a month because I've been strict while training!

26Point2Miles · 26/10/2014 21:42

Well done!

What was your time?

emummy · 26/10/2014 21:48

Fantastic OP, well done! Doing my first one next year hopefully, glad to see it can be done!

Emalushka · 26/10/2014 21:50

Was it the Bradford race?

ALittleFaith · 27/10/2014 07:44

26point see what you did there! waiting for my official time but about 3h 17 minutes. I was the last person across the finish line Blush but DH waited for me at 8 miles (so nice to see him!) and he saw loads of people dropping out around that time. Better to go steady and finish!

It was the Worksop half Emalushka.
