Karrimore...

Does anyone have any reviews of Karrimore running gear? In particular trainers?
I've seen some on sports direct website that I like the look of that will be used on my treadmill at home until my fitness levels are back up and then will transition to the roads.

The running gear is ok; I have some tops and tights and capris, but do find the more expensive stuff comfier. Don't know about the trainers, but I have a pair of their off road shoes which were £29.99 and they have been great.

The running gear is cheap and cheerful. I've got a hi-vis top and it's not a great fit but it hasn't fallen apart yet.

I did have a pair of their trail trainers but they were crap so I sent them back.

I've read mixed reviews on the trainers that's why I thought I'd ask here what people thought. They'll be mainly for a treadmill to start with... My Nikes are on their way out.... Maybe I should stick with what I know and buy Nikes again? Who'd have thought buying bloody trainers would be so hard??

oh only just come across this. I have Karrimor trainers for running. They are not great and I will be swapping when i can afford to. Be aware that sports direct own karrimor and it is the only brand the staff get commission on so they try to sell it to you (fairly shamelessly in my experience). I think the newer more expensive stuff is better but I would be wary of their advice.

I buy the clothes but wouldn't buy the shoes. DP and I get through a lot of trainers and we buy from sportsshoes.com. Once you are signed up they are always mailing you with extra discounts. You can buy non-current shoes at much lower prices e.g. buy Asics Gel Cumulus 15 when the 16 has already been launched.
