Exercise DVD that is ok with back problems

I had my spine operated on 10 days ago and NEED to start getting active! Next week I should be able to get back to Pilates and swimming, but I'm a fair-weather exerciser (the cold really gets to my back) so need a good DVD that will help me keep moving on days I can't do my walking. I usually do a fast 5 mile walk every other day, up reasonably big hills, so it needs to be energetic/fat burning. I'm coming back after a year off and 3 stone weight gain (gotta love those steroids!!) so should really be gentle but my op may only give me a 3-6 month window to get mobile so need to hit the weight hard!
All suggestions massively appreciated Grin

Leslie Sansone has quite a few walking fitness DVD's. Stick her name into YouTube and see if it's your type of thing. Good luck!

Cadidog I was going to say the same. I do a 2 or 3 miles power walk in my front room with her 3 times a week.

Ooh! Thanks both of you! I will have a look - will she help me get rid of my bingo wings?!

Ugh the dreaded upper arm problem. As the owner of serious farmer arms I'd say the only thing that works is resistance/weight training, but with your back issues I'd be reluctant to recommend anything before you got the advice of a physio. Or do what I do - stick to long sleeved tops!

I look like I have thighs in my long sleeves!! I wish I could just sculpt a bit off - like playdoh!!
