I need a non-disintegrating exercise mat!

I've got a mat (USA Pro, from sports direct) - which would be fine except that it sheds bits of black rubber all over the carpet.

Any recommendations for one which won't do this please?

I'm also looking & the Amazon reviews are great for this :)

Sorry I wasn't very clear. When I was choosing a yoga mat I found that the amazon reviews were great at finding out if a mat was too thin or started to shed bits all over the place. I can't remember which one I bought in the end but I bought it based upon the good reviews :)

Hate to say it but in my experience the more expensive brands tend to be better, I'm a fan of Gaiam mats and have a couple- both bought from John Lewis.

I'd rather buy a decent one that lasts than get through several cheapies which force me to vacuum more often than I CBA - I just didn't want to shell out for an expensive one which still wasn't good. Thanks
