Richmond Park Women Only Run

I'm thinking of entering the Women Only Run in Richmond Park on 18 October. I've not entered this type of event before.

I see there are three distances - 5, 10 or 15km. I can run comfortably for 20 minutes or so but would like to push myself. Which length should I attempt, and will I look silly if I have to walk at points?

I like the idea of having something to work towards, but don't want to stress myself out worrying.

Thanks in advance!

I'd go for the 10k myself, you've got a quite a few weeks to train for it, it should be doable without being daunting.

I agree - with 6 weeks to train you I'd push for the 10k. Try and add 5-7 minutes per week to your longest run and that should get you close enough to be fine on race day.
