I'm on about W8 of C25K and appear to be stuck on W5R2
(illness and holiday account for some gaps - have really tried to keep up 3 x week runs - honestly!)
I managed the 2 x 8min runs without collapsing on tuesday and thought I'd give it one more go this evening as 20mins non stop just seems such a huge leap.
However, really struggled with both of the 8 min runs today, had to stop for 30-60 secs during both tries.
I'm generally struggling with the breathing (don't really notice legs at all) especially the 1st 5 mins or so although it never seems to get into any sort of comfortable pattern.
I really don't feel like I could go any more slowly without grinding to a walk (am covering between 3.6 and 3.9 kms over the W4 and W5 efforts).
Any tips for the leap from 2x8 to 20 mins non stop and also some breathing control would be greatly appreciated.
