My stomach was really painful after about 1.5 miles and I had to walk the rest of the way home. I got a headache and felt sick at the same time as the stomach pains.
I don't know if I'd over done it or if it was to do with the c section I had 8 months ago?

I had a very good first mile and ran faster and for longer (normally have to take a few breaks as I'm a beginner!)
so was pleased about that but maybe I over did it?

I normally don't feel my stomach muscles when running (since the c section) and tonight is the first time I've felt them properly so I'm guessing the feeling is just coming back and they're weak still?

It could be that, although headache and stomach cramps that make me sick are what I get if I go running at that time of the month.

Dehydration? It has been very warm today.

The other night I went out too soon after lasagne (1.5hrs), ran 10k, felt a bit queasy but otherwise good - the second I stopped I was doubled up with stomach cramps that hung around for hours afterwards.

It's not my time of the mint for about 2 weeks so I don't think it's that

Possibly a bit of dehydration although I do tend to drink well especially when it's warm.

Does anybody know if my muscles would still be weak at this point?
I'm trying to avoid hurting myself that's all! If I always felt my stomach muscles when I ran I'd guess I'd over done it and ran too fast, it's just odd it's the first time I've felt them and they were very painful!
