Sports bras & running trainers?

Hi all

With sports bras, can you measure yourself then go out & purchase? Does anyone know of a foolproof method?! Grin

And where's the best place to buy good quality running trainers that won't cost the earth?

TIA Thanks

Do the Bra Guru method, then try in both your true size and a back size up/cup size down.

Alas with shoes, you need to be fitted by someone

What CMOTD said. Measure yourself on the bra via the guru method, but then go and try on a few in store. Running bras can be really tricky to fasten up, especially when new btw.

Shoes - I'd go and get fitted properly, somewhere like Sweatshop. But then you can always buy a 2nd pair the same in end of season sales online etc. for when the first pair wear out, once you know what you need.

You could buy a few different sizes on figleaves, try at home then return the ones that don't fit. Shock absorber are pretty good.
Lululemon I think are the VERY best but mostly available in the US and are expensive.

I got my new Brooks shoes from www.sportsshoes.com/. Bargain! May be last year's stock but who cares!

I need a new bra too as I have 2 HM this year and when I'm due on they hit my chin..........the elastic has gone so it ain't comfy doing 9/10 miles like that!
