I've not exercised since my 3yr old son was born and then his 2 yr old sister. A couple of close berevements and a house move later, and I am 3stt overweight and knackered. I have my toddlers in tow all the time, so I need to work out some way of getting us all some exercise. Swimming's out, because I can't keep them both safe. I feel like I can't see the woods for the trees and I'm missing some obvious solutions. Thanks for any help you can give...

Same position here.

On my list of things to try are:

Running around the park/ beach etc
Dancing with music on in the house
Over - energetic "row row the boat" not really

Ideas that spring to mind are walking / cycling / some sort of boat trip where you have to paddle (lovely in the summer with a picnic). Dvd's at home, skipping, hula hooping - great fun with the kids. Dancing around your lounge to music with the kids, cleaning the house, wii fit or Xbox thingie

I put mine in a running jogger and go jogging. We use a twin bike trailer so can cycle with them both safely. Now they can use scooters I often jog and they scoot along. Fitness DVDs in eve when they sleep.

Walking is sooo slooowwww
Cycling the same
dvds and dancing are do-able
Gah - just got rid of my double jogger as my so is rather squashed in it and quite disgruntled at not being able to walk.
Unfortunately I pee myself when I skip Blush (whole other tread)
I think maybe the dvd route is the most viable. And the dancing. Thak-you forthe replies x
