Running 3kms 4-5 days a week

The country I live in is having a major heat wave at the moment, meaning I have to get up really early in the week to exercise as it is too hot later in the day to do my usual walk home from work etc. So I have been running round the park which is 3.1km and was wondering if it is ok to do that each day or should I give myself a rest day in between runs? It takes me around 25mins to run 3kms. If I don't get that early morning run out of the way I don't get any exercise. The other alternative is Shred one day and run the next day. Thanks in advance for any advice.

I think you need to listen to your own body. If you feel like you can do if multiple days back to back then I'm sure it's fine. But if you are feeling sore at all you should probably give yourself time to recover. As long as you are eating enough & drinking enough water I think you'll be alright. When doing a proper training plan for races I us talk run 5 days a week.

Thanks Crispy, I will see how I feel tomorrow when I wake up. I really worry I will get out of the habit of exercising. When I was shredding if I went more than two days without doing it I would loose all momentum. So if I can run very day then I will feel really good about myself and not worry about not walking.
