Hi, I feel like I should know this, but I didn't think of asking in my post-birth appointments and no one volunteered the information.

I had a not-great-but-not-totally-horrendous delivery in october (forceps and bad tear), and I think my pelvic floor and muscle separation are pretty normal for my situation, relatively ok but not great yet.

I'm not sure what kind of exercise is recommended? I used to swim and run, but with dd and very little help that's not really an option anymore, and I'm guessing running is not great for pelvic floors anyway. I was thinking about getting an exercise bike?..

Would appreciate the advice of more knowledgeable MNers!

Stupid phone

... There's not a whole lot of time in the evening when there's two of us. I running considered bad for pelvi or recovery? What else can I do for decent gain from fairly limited time?
