New October c25kers?

Having torn a muscle in my calf kickboxing in early June, I've done no exercise since. Leg h been better for a good few weeks but I've been scared. I've been able to eat my body weight unrefined carbs though...

Just did the first run. Feels like I have never exercise dbefore in my life! But I feel good and I know I will feel even better in a few weeks, and teh leg held up fine.

So, any running buddies out there just starting this month as well?

I will be restarting when my torn ligaments in my foot repair enough. I was just starting week 4 when I fell over and did the damage. Now reading your post I am kinda dreading starting again and feeling like I've never run before!!

I started last month but stopped again thanks to falling down the stairs injuring my toe Blush

Am planning on starting again tomorrow, probably from the beginning as my fitness isn't great anyway!

Ferris I've never been the worlds fittest but I was doing amazing in June - 43 days training in a row, and the leg went. But I KNOW if I stick with it in a month I will feel amazing compared to now. It's just disappointing how far back I feel I have gone. I could have restarted training weeks ago but I've been scared. No confidence.

Go for it phantom! I won't train tomorrow I'm going to support dh in his half marathon.

Hello!

I'm starting as soon as my new running shoes arrive, should be early this week. My plan is to run Monday, Wednesday and Saturday, with Tuesday Thursday and Friday for (continuing!) strength training and Sundays off.

Hoping to run first thing in the morning to avoid trying to go out for a run while DDs are tired and grumpy.
