I am thinking of hula hopping to tone my waist. What's a good hula hoop to get? Do i need a weighted on?

Yes you need a weighted one - think mine was from sports direct but have also seen them on tesco direct and in store at home bargains.

I keep wanting to do this, is it hard?

Rockchick1984 · 02/09/2013 11:09

Not hard while doing it, but tummy muscles are sore afterwards :)

sore tummy because you're getting really toned?

I am quite excited about hula hooping! off to look for something weighted but was tempted to male my ow!

You need a large weighted hoop. The Davina one from Argos is good.

I watched some YouTube tutorials and taught myself how to do it within 20 mins

just saw the Davina one and thought good value.

adios jelly belly!

if you want to go the whole hog then a powerhoop will sort you out. It can be used for hooping and for doing arm exercises. I have my own and go to powerhoop classes at the sports centre.
