Gait analysis and specially moulded soles

I need new trainers. On advice from various people I went to have my gait analysed (for free). Once I mastered running on the treadmill (I'm not used to treadmills at all and got the giggles) it turns out I don't need any special supports or anything, just some well-cushioned shoes. Their sale starts tomorrow, so I'm going in to get some. When they did the analysis they made an inner sole that was moulded to my feet - which do seem to make the shoes more comfy. But they're going to charge £45 just for this inner sole. What do you think - worth it or not? THANK YOU!
