Runners World 5km PB programme

Well, after about a month and a half off running I've just got up early to run the second day of the programme. Speed work yesterday was tough, but it was quite nice getting up for the 'easy' run this morning. 30:53 for 5km on an easy run so on target!

I think you mentioned this on the other thread?
I'm doing this one as well but as Im booking a race on the 6th I have to skip the first week. So session one of week 2 is tonight and its speedwork which I always find really hard.

I'm also doing spinning and kettlebells instead of the easy runs as I find this helps me not to get injured and justifies my gym membership!

Love kettlebells! It's a nice, easy Tempo workout for me tonight after a TRX class.
I'm doing speed and tempo on a treadmill as I'm useless at pacing easy and long runs outside though.

Did my interval session a couple of days ago which was really hard. Ended up doing it on the treadmill as it was really windy as I didn't fancy doing that in a headwind.

Meant to do a 2 mile tempo run today, really confusing though as I tend to work in kms so am having to convert everything before I leave the house.
