I entered the ballot and got in to the 100 mile London-Surrey ride on 3rd August - I am equal parts excited and terrified! It is far, far further than I've ever cycled before, but I'm hoping I'll be up to the distance by then... Today I did ten miles and tried to keep the pace fairly high - but 13mph is not great, really. Oh well, the more I do the better I'll get, right?
Has anyone else got through to the 100 mile ride? Or planning on doing the family fun short ride through London on the Saturday? I think it's a great idea, getting more people cycling can only be a good thing
