Avoid like the plague or are they OK?

I had a very expensive (and alledgedly properly fitted) pair from a posh running shop a few years ago and didn't like them much, so am reluctant to spend so much money again.

Actually, they are ok but I am not a serious runner so just wear them as general trainers.

However, I did play badminton wearing them the weekend and the grip on the shiny floor was rubbish.

So yeah, ok but nothing special.

According to recent studies I've read and seen on TV it makes no difference whether you spend £10 or £100. Obviously they may wear quicker but there will be cause no damage to feet or knees as running on whole feet isnt natural and we should be running on balls of feet.
