That's it really.
Did the C25K a couple of years ago and it's the only time I've LOVED exercise.
Unfortunately when I got to the stage of running for half an hour or so my knees started hurting. I did all the right things - splashed out on gait analysis and properly fitted trainers, went back to running slower and for shorter periods but the pain didn't go away so I had to stop :(
All I do now is walk the dogs but they still hurt. Sometimes worse than others but especially going up and down stairs.
Is it worth going to the GP or is he just going to tell me it's the usual aches and pains of getting older? I'm 45.
Any chance I will ever be able to run again?
