knee problems

Hi all...just started exercising in last 6 Weeks and been loving

...aerobics, spin, bums and Tums and...zumba but I sort of twisted myself on wed night. yesterday I noticed myknee clicking going down some stairs and then when I bent down I felt pressure and pain and when I stood there was a huge crack. I've been taking ibuprofen and using ice but now i'm terrified i've seriously damaged myself. Does anyone have any idea what i've done or advice? I can't believe I might have to stop exercising even for a while add i've been doing so well. I'm 33 and have lost Halfa stone. Also I go to Paris for honeymoon in 3 Weeks and now I really want my knee to be ok so add not top ruin holiday. Nearly crying here...any advice :(

Rest it, do not exercise and see your doctor. I always felt it would be a big waste of time but they were surprisingly helpful when I had exercise related knee problems. Am not going to say what they said though cos everyone is different. But you'll kick yourself if you dont go now and then in 2.5weeks its still no better.

Thanks...i'm going to make an appointment first thing tomorrw...hope I won't have to stop my exerciseadd i'm just starting to feel the benefit, apart from the sore knee!
