Day 6 of level 1 of The 30 day Shred - knackered but motivated. Knees are a bit sore though :-) But overall just love Jillian and no more phoning it in at the gym for me! Anyone else just starting out?

Ooh this has made me sorely tempted to start 30 Day Shred tomorrow. Been doing other workouts but 30 Day Shred had been looking at me for several weeks now so maybe it's now time to give it a whirl!

NoPinkPlease · 22/08/2012 07:18

Day 7 done and finally found it a tiny bit easier! Go for it - it was seeing other people raving about it that got me started (finally!)

Ihatethecold, I can't do a sodding full press up either Grin

I do my push ups on the stairs, so my feet are on the floor, but my hands are 2-3 steps up. I find it easier to hold a straight line down my body, and it's easier than a full push up, but still hard work. Have you tried level 2 and the walking push up yet? Grin

NoPinkPlease · 22/08/2012 17:41

MrsMB, I'm too scared to look at level 2 yet. What is the walking push up?? Is there a 'if you're going to die, follow Anita' version?

Yes there is thank fuck! but be warned, there's at least one exercise in level 2 where they show you the hard version first. I just followed whatever they had on screen and bunny hopped my knee out of place. :( Was rolling about on my back when the "easy" version came on. Blush

Day 9 done - had a sneaky look at level 2 while recovering... Oh wow...

Hi there, I just completed Day 9 of Level 1. Really motivated, which surprises me. So we wait til it becomes easyish before going onto Level 2?

NoPinkPlease · 25/08/2012 09:14

I did day 10 of level 1 last night. It is still absolutely knackering but easier than day 1... I'm going to try level 2 later and if impossible or a disaster, then I'll go back to level 1 for a bit. I had a look at level 2 a couple of days ago - it looks quite hard - eek. But I'm motivated too - amazingly - I think it's cos it's every day - no excuses that a day is a rest day. Grin

Moved on to level 2 last night and it was ok Grin A couple of the moves I could literally do 3 times before needing to rest and could barely do the last abs move... But it was ok and I was really feeling it by the end, in a good way (?) JayARC - have you given it a go?

Oh and MrsMB thanks for the tip re waiting for the Anita moves... There are some where the Natalie version is a distant dream Grin

Hi - still shredding here - except had to take 5 days off as sprained ankle and landed on knee (ouch). Level 2 really really hurts my knees and staying in plank is really really hard. Anyone further on than me want to tell me level 2 gets easier at some point?!

I did L2 and 3 of shred back to back yesterday.......it was a bit grim but I got through it.

I actually think L 3 is easier (esp the cardio) although some of the strength ones were a bit harsh....travelling pressups OMG!!

NoPinkPlease · 06/09/2012 10:24

L2 and L3 back to back??!!! respect!

NoPink...I wont lie or take credit...it was REALLY gruesome!!But seriously, L3 is not as bad as L2 apart from the travelling pressups.

I must go home and shampoo my sweat off the carpet!

RedBlanket · 06/09/2012 11:14

I've fallen off the shredding wagon over summer. I've been running a bit more and cycling with the DCs thinking I was keeping my fitness up, but my jeans are telling me something else.
I'm back to level 1 tomorrow.

(I would agree that l3 is easier than l2)
