Just wondering, for those that have one, how often do you wash it? Every time? When ever you think about it? Never?

I wash the elasticy bit of DH's when he puts it in the washing after each use. The rubbery bit just gets a wipe over.

Thanks hand made. Has he only had the one? The machine hasn't damaged the elastic at all? Not sure if I should buy a second one and rotate them between uses?
