Couch to 5k and children

I am starting this programme (again) and dd who is 9 is hounding me to come out running , do you think its ok for a child to do it to? She talks a lot mind so i might just have to ditch her if she doesnt shut up because i wont be able to breath Grin

I would take her with you. I did. It's good for them, I think. Better than watching TV. You see a lot of young children doing Race For Life, which is a 5k.

And it's good if they talk, cos you don't have to!! Wink

My DS who is 9 comes out sometimes with me when I go out running. He comes on his bike, it is a bit like Rocky! However I do go a bit slow for him sometimes.

He loves it and it encourages exercise.
