Anybody doing the great Manchester run later today?!?

Signed up as part of a work team and it's my 1st race in 18 months due to injury last year....

Only read all the paperwork today - hadn't realised field was 40,000 - it's a bit intimidating to say the least.... And I haven't seen course route maps either do am hoping it's flat....

I did it and it was great.

The time in the pen editing got the green start seemed to go on for ever, but once I got out and running it was good... Nice n flat .... Tho the last 300 metres hurt even though it was a gentle slope

Need to find another race now to have done thing to aim for this autumn ....

I'm thinking Preston guild, they do a 10k half and full marathon although it will be much smaller although much cheaper to enter!
