I'm just done day two of the shred. My legs have seriously seized up, this can't be right surely I'm walking like an old women.

Don't know whether I've done something wrong and injured myself. Maybe I should allow my legs to recover and start again next week Sad

I would stick with it if you haven't injured yourself and it is just stiffness. When I started the achiness stopped after about four days and has never really returned. I also found that doing the exercises each morning helped reduced the discomfort for the rest of the day.

It's called Delayed Onset Muscle Soreness and is your new friend. It means your muscles are growing and repairing and should be celebrated!!

jellibelli is right. Doing exercises like the ones which caused the DOMS in the first place (knowing the shred this will be squats and lunges) will help get rid of the pain. The warm up for the shred is quite short so when you are feeling really sore and tight like this it can help to go for a short brisk walk or something first to get the muscles warmed up and the blood flowing before going into the dynamic warm up Jillian does.

It is definitely the squats and lunges as it burns when I try to sit down. Legs are starting to feel a little better this evening will stick with it thank you
