At what age should kids need to start wearing a mouth guard. My 6 year old dd has been moved into the under 7's team and they start proper tag rugby then. Slightly concerned but dont know if over the top.

The sooner the better, even with minimal contact there is always a danger of clash of heads. It will get them used to it aswell.

Local club requires it only when contact rugby starts, which is under 9s. But Club likes to encourage the under 8s to wear them as well, get used to them if nothing else.
