also posted in chat..

I need jacket and trousers, fully waterproof, suitable to wear on a bike commute (about 8 miles each way). My old Gill jacket has sprung multiple leaks, and they no longer make bike gear. Reflective strips would be a useful bonus.

TIA

why not go to one of the specialist cycling websites, Chain Reaction, Wiggle?

I've used Wiggle before - it's just hard to know without looking at something what the quality is like - seams and stuff...so was looking for recommendations of things that people had tried and tested and found to work well.

I'm interested too
For running though...

I have a Montane shell jacket, similar to this about 2-3 years old now but still excellent. I use it for hillwalking, cycling and running and it copes with it all. It has reflective strips on the sleeves. It was over £100 but well worth it.

HTH!

BikeRadar reviews might be helpful.
