I would like to do some pilates but am stuck at home with the kids. Can anyone recommend a good DVD? I have not done it before.

I have the "10 minute solutions: Pilates Perfect Body" one. It's good. Quite tough (in a good way). It's split into 5 10 minute sections: arms, legs/bum, tummy, and then 2 all-round stretch and tone sections.

I have the Pilates Perfect Body DVD too and agree that it's very good - and hard, but worth persevering with.

All the 10 minute solution Pilates DVDs I have tried have been great, actually. The format is very conducive to life with small kids as you can usually find ten minutes here or there to do one of the workouts.
I also have the Pilates on the ball one and it's fab as well. I like to alternate the two DVDs - they were both pretty cheap on Amazon. But you do need somewhere to keep an exercise ball!

I also have the Darcy Bussell Pilates DVD which is very comprehensive - but it's long and quite slow paced. I got a bit frustrated TBH, even though the exercises are good.

Oh, and most pilates DVDs require you to have small hand weights, and you'll need a mat too.

I love the Darcy one - nice bit of Debussy in the background and she doesn't rub it in tooooo much that she's practically a contortionist Grin
