new to this bit of mn.
Probably all been done here b4 but just interested in what other people listen to on their mp3 when running.

I need to have music as my tinnitus drives me insane otherwise.

I read that listening to music cna increase your performance by up to 20% and listening to the right music can help more. Tracks with a bpm of 120-140 are apparently the best so I listen to trance music as well as a brilliant band called Puressence.

Love to hear what you are into.

Mixture of dance and rock mainly. Prodigy; ACDC; current bug dance tunes with the right sort of base e.g Example Change the Way you Kissed Me. I downloaded all my stuff on to itune many moons ago and have gone through and made a running list from them. Ranges from Cure 'Inbetween days', New Order 'Blue Monday' through to Cream dances mixes.

I read that it depends on whether you associate or disassociate when running. Elites tend to do the former to gauge optimum performance apparently. I tend not to as I like to be aware of my surroundings and focus on what I see and hear.
