I'm very new to this running lark and was planning my first 10k race this weekend but I took sick on Saturday past and have had 48h of tmi nausea and horrendous diarrhoea. That's now settled but I'm exhausted and slowly rehydrating. Had I been well I'd have done my final run this afternoon and rested up and ate pasta until Saturday. Obviously I can't run today. Any chance I'll be able to do the 10k? And if so how will I know it's worth a punt?
