Hi

It's 8 weeks since my babies were born. The gap in my tummy muscles is less than one finger separated. When can I start doing crunches and oblique exercises again?

TIA

Now, i would think.
Its gone 8 weeks, and if you gave birth normally and no C section you should be ok to commence ab work. Start with the old pelvic tilts and progress them into abdo curls.

As you carry out the pelvic tilt, hold it, and then lift your head off the floor, increasing the amount of them you do, and as you progress elevate your shoulders off the floor too. Hold, and then lower slowly. Remember to suck in you pelvic area and engage (pull tight) your abdominal muscles.

Obliques are ok too btw.
