Shredders - when did you start to lose weight??

Day 17 today. I have 2 stone of babyweight to lose and thus far I've put on 2/3lbs Confused. Some of it is no doubt muscle but I thought I would have started losing weight by now. I'm pretty sure my tummy is getting smaller (slowly) but it would be nice to see the scales going in the right direction. I'm getting fed up with nothing fitting.

Are you EBFing? I lost all of 1kg in two months. I have still kept it up though as I can feel the change in energy levels and body composition. However now hat DS2 is now 4 months I have just lost another kg.
17 days is not long into a weight loss plan. Unless you are doing a lo cal diet (

I was mixed feeding but expressing, not bfing (long story). I do pile on weight while bfing so I'm sure that's part of the problem. I've just stopped expressing so the weight may start to come off. My energy levels had definitely increased since starting it and I went out for a run on sunday and managed to run for 38mins straight which I'm sure was only because the shred had improved my fitness levels (was my first run since ds3 was born). Unfortunately I've now got a cold so it's all gone to pot.

38 minutes is great!

Shred probably burns no more than 200 cals, although is obviously building lean muscle, so good for a slimmer look in the slightly longer term. Lots of people also emphasis going on measurements with the shred, rather than just weight, as the measurements change quicker than the weight.

I would be careful with the eating and add 2/3 runs a week as well at as least 2/3 shreds (when cold better - although 'rule' is apparently you are fine to exercise if symptoms are not felt 'below the head'.)

I didn't lose any weight with shredding but I have lost inches and inches and inches, so don't worry about the scales. Your clothes will fit again very soon. Stick with it.

Shredded today despite the cold. Notyummy, I think that's a good plan cos TBH I get a bit bored shredding every day. And I love running, especially now I know that I can actually run a decent distance again.
