despite still in agony from a PT session on monday?

My legs are killing and it hurts to sit down, but when i walked to school this morning they felt better.

Will i do any damage training again today? I have a bodycombat class this morning

Your legs hurt because the muscles are damaged on a microscopic level - there are lots of little tears in the muscle fibres which have caused an inflammatory response, basically this happens every time you exercise, and when the microtrauma heals you get stronger muscle. So effectively you're asking if you should train on damaged muscles, to which the answer should be no!

You have, however, found that a bit of light exercise has really helped ease things off, because you're increasing circulation and speeding up the healing cycle, so you may get some benefit from your class, as long as you stay within your limits (which may be lower than normal today).

So to paraphrase yeah, but no, but yeah, but no.

If it were me I would go, but I do have a tendency to overtrain. Sometime training on fatigued muscles aids recovery, sometimes it causes injury. I am happy to take that risk (stupid, I know) so if you want to be sensible you should take another rest day.

yerr but i'd just do 30 mins or so of light lw impact cv like cycling/walking/rowing/swimming. I'd avoid combat
