When you wear running legs like these, do you wear pants underneath?

I'm thinking not, like cycling shorts, but am I right??

its completely what you feel comfortable doing. I wear a no VPL thong but thats because if I don't (TMI allert!!) my pelvic floors feel like they are letting all my innards fall out as I run!!

Cheers Clure- hope you succeed in keeping them in! I ran pantless earlier, which I think felt right. These legs even have a mesh section between the legs to get a breeze going. So I thought I would ruin the breeze function if I went for pants.

I wear black cotton pants.

backwardpossom · 03/04/2011 20:24

I do. I don't think I'd feel comfortable without anything underneath!

Clure · 03/04/2011 21:49

I do triathlons and so go pantless in a trisuit - it still doesn't feel quite right but less material to get weighed down with murky lake water!

thenightsky · 03/04/2011 23:16

oh yes - tri is different matter... i'd go pantless too

GypsyMoth · 03/04/2011 23:24

i don't think i could!!! something for me to ponder on i guess..

Doyouthinktheysaurus · 04/04/2011 03:54

I go knickerless with my winter tights but my spring tights cut me in 2 without knickers so wear them. I really need some new ones, they are most uncomfortable!

I do prefer going knickerless now I am used to it and I had some chafing on my very long runs from my knicker elastic at the back.

You do get used to being knickerless, it's not obvious and I run with the delusion that I am invisible to everyone all the time I keep running anywayGrin That's the only way I can ever get myself out the door wearing head to toe lycraBlushGrin

I wear these. Very comfy. For some reason running tights reveal a bit too much. And those ones with a slightly see through mesh panel in the crotch are even worse. Spider legs, anyone?

squix · 04/04/2011 14:14

I wear something like this . The ones I wear have a high lycra content so act as extra support for my behind - it needs it Smile

The whole mesh crotch thing was entirely new to me! A bit of a shock Grin But a good idea I think. Think I will continue pantless then.
