Running and weight

Ladies, tell me I'm being as daft as a brush.

When I run I put on weight.

Until recently I was 8 1/2 stone. At 5'8" this is very slim. While I've been BF my weight stays right down and I can eat like a horse.

I'm not not BF as much (still plenty though) and I've started running again (yay).

My weight is creeping up and am now nearly 9 stone. I think this is my ideal weight. It's what I've been all my adult life, it's what I settle at if I lose or gain for whatever reason, but there's a bit of me that really liked being even slimmer. It's not just that my muscles are more toned, I AM bigger, I can feel it when I put my jeans on.

When I was 8 1/2 stone my bum vanished and I'm sure I actually look better the way I am, but I just struggle with it all. Anyone else?
