different types of yoga?

have just done an intorductory course of hot bikram yoga, which was AMAZING but far too expensive to continue so was going to see what other yoga classes there were close to me (live in SW London). What I loved about Bikram was it was a full on workout for 90mins, it's the only exercise I really do aside from cycling everywhere so want to find a yoga that is more a workout than a meditation exercise.

Any yoga fans out there who can tel me the differences between all the different types!

Ashtanga/power yoga and going to a decent teacher!!!!!!! Classical yoga is challenging if it is taught properly.I think if you google yoga finder it should help you out with centres in your area.

I agree with Oonagh that finding a good teacher is the key.

Explanation of the different types here.

thankyou! Just so annoying the Bikram classes are extortionate as they do early morning sessions, as I can't do evenings and have my son with me during the day...booo
