Talk to me about bike trailers...

I'm thinking about getting a bike trailer to take DS1 (2.5 years) to play group with DS2 (10 months). I've searched for advice on mumsnet but can't find any recent threads so thought I'd check which trailers people liked. There seem to be trailers available from £100 new to £500 plus - how much difference is there? The journey is about 1.5 miles through a quiet village on flat roads. Thank you!

oops sorry was doing link first then was writing a message but posted early obviously.

We've got the above one and are quite happy with it. have only the one DS (22 months) and he seems comfy in it when we're out. I looked at a few and decided to go mid price range as wanted him to be dry and comfortable but didn't feel we needed top of the range one for our needs.

Thanks scotlass, how much room is there for bags?

There's quite a big pocket at the back and you could probably put a small one in with the DC's. can't remember though as we've had terrible weather here for weeks so haven't been out - roll on the spring!

One thing we found though was to choose a helmet carefully. had DD's old one but found it was too long at the back so have ended up buying him a specialized one that has a flatter back and he's happier with that.
