You should look for a teacher that is a qualified anti natal teacher. The pilates foundation web site should have the details of some in your area. If it doesn't, send me a PM as the chairwoman lives next door so I'll ask her for you Smile

i go to a gym who has a tutor that i've spoken to, but i can't remember what she said! i already pay for this gym so not looking for a new teacher.

I just wondered if anyone knew and could mention it here so that i could properly absorb it and know what i was doing.

i know there are rules like 'no arms above head height'

will check out the website - thanq

I don't know without speaking to her. The web site may be able to help though. Smile

I did pilates up to 2 weeks before my due date. The main rule was not to do any exercises that involve lying on you back except very briefly. Face down ones became uncomfortable early on too for obvious reasons. Then extended leg ones were limited too, and she made me do loads of pelvic floor ones!
