Polling Cards - have you got them yet?

I'd like this to be a thread solely based on whether you have got your polling cards yet.

It's now just a month to go before the election. I've not had my polling cards yet. My household is already on the register, but I'm now beginning to doubt whether or not I'm on. We voted in the EU elections and I've updated and posted the letter sent out during the summer.

DontLookBackIntoTheSun · 11/11/2019 17:52

Not got mine yet, it’s a bit early still

OneMoreLight · 11/11/2019 18:20

Applesandpears23 · 11/11/2019 18:21

No

MockersthefeMANist · 11/11/2019 18:22

Snap election. Need to sort out all the polling stations at a time of year when church halls and schools might be busy with something else.
Give em to the end of the week before you panic.

nearlyfinished1moreyear · 11/11/2019 18:23

Nope

Ihatecobwebs · 11/11/2019 18:25

Ours went to the printer last Tuesday, so I don't expect to get them until the end of the week.

Kyvia · 11/11/2019 18:28

Nope but went on the register your vote site and got a letter shortly after saying don’t worry you’re already on the register

Also you don’t actually need your poll card to vote anyway

prettybird · 11/11/2019 18:28

No.

placemats · 11/11/2019 18:29

For the benefit of doubt Mockers, I'm not panicking.

Another no here. Bit early I think.

bellinisurge · 11/11/2019 18:29

No. Not yet. But just a reminder that you don't need one to vote.

Exp1etiveDeLighted · 11/11/2019 18:30

Ours came today.

placemats · 11/11/2019 18:40

But how do you know you're registered to vote if you don't get a polling card?

I am aware that you don't need to bring the polling card into the polling station.

Yes, mine came on Saturday. I registered at my new address about 8 weeks ago.

bellinisurge · 11/11/2019 18:49

@placemats , if you put yourself on the register you are on the register. You could check with your local council, I suppose. Democratic services department or whatever they are called in your area.

ScreamingCosArgosHaveNoRavens · 11/11/2019 18:51
